This past weekend held one of many powerful storms that California desperately needed. The rainfall and wind from the storm brought tragedy to one of California’s most iconic tree tunnels. The giant 275 foot sequoia had been hollowed out for people to drive under has recently collapsed.  The tree fell in Big Trees State Park in Arnold, California The winter storms slamming the state caused the 1,000 year old tree to topple. The tree was a wonder to every visitor that drove through it. Locals are devastated at the loss of the historical California monument.
